El uso educativo de los blogs

El blog es una forma de presentar información a los alumnos y está formado por posts o entradas que están ordenadas de manera cronológica, páginas estáticas que proporcionan información que facilitará la navegación dentro del blog, enlaces, etiquetas, etc.

El profesor puede utilizar un blog del aula que él mismo gestiona y publica recursos que se puede utilizar tanto en el aula como fuera del aula. Se pueden publicar vídeos, imágenes, textos, webquests, ejercicios de comprensión auditiva, podcasts, formularios, etc. relacionados con el tema que se está trabajando en clase. Por ser un recurso utilizado en el clase creo que se debería de publicar uno o dos posts semanales. Los alumnos también pueden crear su propio blog, blog personal del alumno, ellos son los creadores del blog y el blog será el soporte digital de sus proyectos o tareas asignadas por el profesor. Además tendremos el contenido que el alumno añada a su blog, por ejemplo links, textos, imágenes o vídeos de su propio interés.También se puede crear un blog colectivo de la clase donde el docente y sus alumnos participan y colaboran creando por ejemplo una revista.

El profesor debe saber cómo organizar el blog o los blogs que se crean en el aula. Una posibilidad sería que en el blog del aula se incluyan los enlaces de los blogs personales de los alumnos, de esta manera se fomentará la escritura y también se impulsará a los alumnos a escribir comentarios en los blogs de sus compañeros, a respetar las opiniones de los demás, a que se responsabilicen de lo que escriban, a colaborar y ayudar a los compañeros etc.
